Voor zij die het misschien nog niet wisten, ik ben zwanger. En inmiddels wel behoorlijk zwanger! Namelijk 40 weken + 7 dagen. Druk bezig met een zeer belangrijke productie dus. Ik heb me heel de zwangerschap goed gevoeld. Soms denk ik wel eens 'met meer energie dan daarvoor'. Lang heb ik niet begrepen wat men bedoelde met de laatste loodjes maar het wachten beginnen we wel een beetje beu te raken. Gelukkig vermaak ik me nog goed met Pinterest, Twitter en Instagram en al mijn online vrienden. Dank je voor jullie support. En hopelijk kan ik maandag een extra blogje, tweet of instagrammetje besteden aan ons nieuwe wondertje.
For those who may not know it, I'm pregnant. Pretty far along now as I'm 40 weeks + 7 days. And it is a very important production I'm working on: our first born. During my entire pregnancy I've been very lucky to feel very good. Loads of energy! Sometimes I think even more energy than before. For long I didn't understand what they meant with the burden of waiting but now we're so ready we don't want to wait any longer. Thank god I have my blog, pinterest, twitter and instagram to keep me busy. As well as the support of my online friends. Thanks for that and hopefully after this weekend I can post an extra blog with new of our little miracle.

Ik heb het niet snel maar dit is een huis waarbij ik meteen zou zeggen ik laat al mijn bezittingen achter, neem partner en kindje mee en ga hier wonen. Wat een heerlijk, licht, fris, rustiek, uitnodigend huis. Het lijkt hier wel 365 dagen zomer. Gespot op Lighthouse Locations.

Na PINTEREST is mijn nieuwe uitlaat klep voor inspiratie sinds de komst van een iPhone ipv Blackberry toch wel Instagram. Vaak krijg ik de vraag waarom ik niet meer van eigen huis publiceer op mijn blog. Eigenlijk omdat ik vind dat hier ook echt mooie fotografie bij nodig is. Via Instagram deel ik de snap shotjes uit mijn dagelijkse leven. Vast niet allemaal even spannend maar ik vind het erg leuk. En het is zo leuk om de reacties te zien. Bijna verslavend.
After PINTEREST my new way to express my inspiration is Instagram. I've swapped my blackberry for an iPhone and now I'm hooked. Often people ask me why I don't share more of my own home on my blog. Mainly because I feel you need close to professional photos for that. So on Instagram I post little snapshots of my life and my interior. I'm sure they're not all very exciting to look at but I love posting them. And love to read the comments of followers. My new addiction.

Slimme verftechnieken in een frisse keuken

In deze keuken van Camilla zijn leuke kleuren en grappige verfcombinaties gemaakt. Zo is de onderkant van de bar heel licht grijs geverfd en de vloer heeft een lichtere rand waar de keuken begint. In z'n geheel misschien niet 100% mijn interieur keuze omdat er ook veel barokke meubelen in staan maar je haalt er zeker inspiratie uit.
Camilla has chosen nice colours and some fun optical tricks with her paint. Look at the light grey bar with wooden surface and the light edge in the floor around where the kitchen starts. Over all the interior is not 100% my choice as she also has quite a few more barok elements. But I definately see things that inspire me.

Zo heb je Carl the sailor, Carl the show must go on, Carl the Teen wolf, Carlos, Good Morning Carl en Have faith in Carl. Doet me denken aan zo'n lekkere foute show van de Belg Jambers.... Het leukste effect krijg je natuurlijk als je thuis een mini Carl gallery maakt met een paar soorten naast elkaar.

Maandagavond heb ik op twitter een gezellig avondje doorgebracht met wat online friends over het ontwerp kringloop. Het is me wel duidelijk dat we met velen de passie voor het snuffelen naar little gems bij de kringloop winkels delen. Daarom wil ik jullie deze site ook niet onthouden: containergirl. Ik kwel mezelf hier regelmatig mee. Kwellen, waarom? Deze kringloop ligt ergens in Zweden en ze houden een blog bij. Niet zo 1, 2, 3 naast de deur dus maar wel met hele leuke spullen. Ik zou hier graag een keertje met een klein vrachtwagentje langsrijden.

Hier gaan mijn teentjes toch wel een beetje krom van staan. Oh wat zonde! Kijkend naar een beeld als deze krijg je toch tranen in je ogen. Wat een geweldige stoelen en leuke vierkante tafel. En deze staan gewoon te verpieteren. Fantastische foto met mooie kleuren (zwart/wit gecombineerd met soft colours) maar dat maakt de treurnis niet goed. Eeuwige sund! Die stoelen hadden bij mij een warm en comfortabel thuis kunnen krijgen.

Als ik een fijne fix sfeervol en leefbaar wonen wil zien dan is mijn vaste bezoekadresje toch wel Dos Family. Met de visits die zij in Denemarken en Zweden doen hebben ze een prachtige verzameling op hun blog staan. En iedere keer hoop ik dat ze weer bij iemand anders over de drempel zijn gegaan. Dat licht en robuust best wel samen kunnen gaan laat deze keuken van BoligPluss zien. Zelf ben ik ook altijd groot fan van indoor ramen en doorkijkjes zoals achter de bank aan de eettafel.

Daar zie je fantastische huizen met open ruimtes en inrichting met fijne desgin meubels. Als je dat gezien hebt zeg je 'naar zolder die tierelantijnen, het is weer mooi geweest!'.

2011 was voor mij persoonlijk een jaar van verandering. We zijn verhuisd, ik ben zwanger geworden van ons eerste kindje, heb besloten te stoppen met de webwinkel, veel leuke ervaringen mogen delen met mede bloggers, veel plezier beleefd aan mijn blog en Pinterest en Instagram ontdekt.
2012 begin ik in januari met het moederschap (ergens in het 2e deel van de maand), ga ik een baan zoeken voor 3 dagen in de week, heb ik leuke plannen voor mijn blog en als passie en energie het toelaten komt er vast ook nog wel iets met mooie inkoop in kleine oplages. Kortom, ook weer een jaar waarin ik veel nieuw terrein ga ontdekken. Maar eerst ga ik me concentreren op onze junior. Ik wens iedereen morgen een fijne jaarwisseling met geliefden, lekkernijen en vertier.
For me personally 2011 was the year of change. We've moved house, I'm pregnant with our first born, I've quit my webshop, met and shared great experiences with fellow bloggers and discovered Pinterest and Instagram.
In 2012 I'll start the year with a baby (somewhere in the second part of January), I'll be on the lookout of a nice job for 3 days a week, have some great plans for my blog and if energy and passion continue as it is I'm sure I'll try to find some nice items for a small shop. Again, a year of many changes. But first things first and that will be becoming a great mom! I wish you all a great new years eve with loved ones, great food and loads of fun!

Is rood wit niet echt jouw kleurcombinatie. Net teveel standaard kerst. We hebben voor ieder wat wils. Dan kun je natuurlijk ook voor de naturel tinten kiezen. Less is more. Zoals deze boom in een grote groene glazen vaas. Zonder decoraties of lichtjes maar met mooie grote dennenappels erin. Waar zou je zoiets hier kunnen vinden? Leuk voor menu kaartjes zijn deze kartonnetjes met vloeipapier erop gestikt in kerst vormen. En de kreet, nou die mag altijd wel je motto zijn nietwaar? Kerst in rood wit

Het kerstdiner is uitgekozen, de boodschappen lijstjes gemaakt en nu nog de styling van de tafel. Hier wat tips die net dat beetje extra effect kunnen geven. Hang aan de servetjes leuke kaartjes met de naam of een fijne kerstgroet. Gebruik hiervoor de volgende link vanuit mijn Pinterest Christmas board. De kaartjes kun je leuk bevestigen met het rood witte keukendraad. Als waterglaasjes zijn de nieuwe Ania waterglazen van LSA heel erg mooi. Ze brengen net dat extra beetje kleur op tafel. Daarom shop je ze ook bij: kleuroptafel. Het toetje serveer je extra mooi in een cocktail glas met een bevroren rode ster (deze maak je van ingevroren frambozen pulp. We've figured out what we want to eat for Christmas and probably also have a shopping list ready. Now we need to think about dressing the table. There is still time to do some DIY and add some stylish products. We also love the dessert by Donna Hay using cocktail glasses (I've seen some really nice ones at Nordic blends that are on sale) and a frozen raspberry pulp star for colour contrast. This week we'll post some more nice Christmas ideas. And I'm sorry I've been a bit absent last week. I've kept myself busy with a speedy gonzales visit by my sister from Australia.

Finally online available in the Netherlands. I've thought of putting them in the Lille Lykke collection many times and the black 4 candles stand is definately on my wish and want list. And now I don't have to travel to Denmark for them (which is never a punishment don't get me wrong!). They're available in Rotterdam (about 10 streets from where I live) in the online shop Nordic Blends. For me these items are like the wooden monkey by Kaj Bojesen. Timeless design that you'll treasure and enjoy for many years to come.

Wat zou het heerlijk zijn om NU de straten van Stockholm af te struinen. Dat geluk heeft Pauline van Petit Passport. En toen ik op haar blog deze geweldige stempels van Granit zag ben ik daar maar even in de digitale schappen gaan neuzen. Deze vier items zouden dan hoog op mijn kerst wensen lijstje komen. Natuurlijk gaan we met kerst de cadeautjes leuk verpakken maar waarom zou je jezelf niet ook voorzien van wat leuke extra's. Zoals zo'n rood ruitjes riempje met pompoms voor jezelf of deze vilten kerstboompjes voor onder de knoopjes voor je dochter. Gespot op de site van Martha Stewart waar het rond de kerst periode sowieso leuk neuzen is.
Around Christmas we put extra work and efford into making cute Christmas presents. But why not also put ribbons and decorations on yourself? I really like the little red and white belt with white pompoms and I'm sure you're little girl would be delighted with these felt Christmas trees on her shirt. Ik moet iets bekennen. De eerste kerstdecoraties zijn al het huis in geslopen. Redelijk onschuldig nog op het kleinste kamertje van het huis. Ons gasten toilet is gedecoreerd met bovenstaande afbeeldingen uit mijn Pinterest Christmas inspiratie board en de twee zwarte kerstboompjes zijn van Tine K Home.

In Holland you normally don't start with Christmas until after December 5th. That's when we celebrate Sinterklaas. Als je zoals mijn zus in Australië woont en je kerst met 30+ graden op de thermometer viert dan ga je andere keuzes maken in kerst decoraties. Dit jaar gaat ze voor rood met wit en beach accenten. Alles zelf gemaakt en gevonden (met 2-jarige zoon). Zo heeft ze die leuke pluim in het midden van de witte kralenketting gevonden op het strand in Byron Bay. Na Sinterklaas komt ze een weekje naar Nederland toe om toch ook nog een beetje van onze winters (en mijn zwangerschap) mee te krijgen. Ik verheug me hier ENORM op.

Wat een heerlijk licht, vrolijk en creatief familie huis. Ik zou hier zo in kunnen trekken. Ware het niet dat de kinderkamer nog even omgetoverd zou moeten worden naar een baby variant. Maar de keuken, de tafel met stoelen, de bank, de kunst, het licht en zelfs de kerst decoraties zijn allemaal zeer naar mijn smaak. En het ziet er ook uit als een geweldige playground om als kind in op te groeien.

Vorig jaar was ik over the moon verliefd op de kerstkaarten van Darling Clementine. Dit keer moet ik zeggen dat de naast de eerder geblogde kaarten ook deze van Minimega uit Denemarken me niet ontgaan zijn. Eenvoudig ontwerp met een frisse kleuren en een dikke knipoog. Die zouden geweldig staan tussen de alledaagse besneeuwde kerstbal kaarten die we ook nog steeds krijgen.

Last year I was over the moon in love with the Darling Clementine Christmascards. I must say that this year aside from the previously blogged cards also the Minimega cards from Denmark really caught my eye. A simple design with bright colours and a big winking eye. These would look great between the every day, every year snowy christmasballs cards we also still receive.

Dit huis is met heel veel liefde voor mooie oude items ingericht. En ze hebben een prachtige collectie weten te verzamelen! Je ziet ook dat ze niet bang zijn om te experimenteren wat ik erg leuk vind omdat een interieur dan persoonlijk wordt. Blokken op de vloer geschilderd onder de eettafel, de vogelhuisjes met lampjes boven de klepbank en de lampen om het bordenrek bij de kleine tafel. Het ziet eruit als een lekker LEEF huis.

Something I always love to see as that's when great things happen. The painted blocks in the dining area, the birdhouses with lamps around the window and the lamps around the platerack above the small table. It looks to be a great home to live in.

Zo ben ik ook terecht gekomen op La Tartine Gourmande. Op de eerste pagina kom ik meteen beelden als deze tegen. En ik kan je verzekeren, dan heb je mijn aandacht! Mooie producten, fijne foodstyling en prachtige fotografie. Dat kan ik je beloven bij een bezoekje aan de site van Béa, een Francaise die in Boston woont. Als je naar deze BoBedre keuken kijkt wordt het spontaan weer zomer. Past ook wel bij de zonnige dagen die we op dit moment nog hebben. Een heerlijke kleur explosie in oranje. Maar als je zo'n mooie wit/zwarte basis hebt dan mag dat ook wel. Ook leuk is het bordenrek wat gebruikt wordt als houder voor boeken en tijdschriften.

Dit is wel een leuk voorbeeld van wat je zoal met het Rie Elise Larsen papier kunt doen. Voor de foto frames zou je natuurlijk ook masking tape kunnen gebruiken. Gespot op het Deense Wooz blog. Daar zul je ook zien als je door haar archief gaat dat ze erg creatief is met het papier. Op de WC letters, haar broodbak, kasten, dressoirs, kandelaars, you name it en ze heeft het beplakt. Leuk om te zien.
This is a nice example of what you can do with the Rie Elise Larsen paper. Of course you could just as easily use masking tape for the photo frames. I've spotted this image on the Danish Wooz blog. You'll see when you start looking in her archives that she is very creative with the paper. She has it on WC letters, her breadbox, cabinets, dressers, candlesticks, you name it and she's papered it. Afgelopen zaterdag ben ik naar de Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven geweest. En dag vol indrukken en inspiraties en helaas een portemonnaie niet dik en gevuld genoeg om mijn favorieten meteen mee te nemen. Na een gesprek met een ontwerpster van fantastische lampen kom ik tot de ontdekking dat ook deze ontwerpers daar wel eens mee te kampen hebben. Last Saturday I visited the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. A day filled with impressions and inspirations. Unfortunately my wallet wasn't filled enough to bring home my favorites spotted during that day. After a chat with a designer of very beautiful lamps I came to the understanding that they themselves also experience that 'problem' but they solve this by exchanging their beauties. At the bottom of this post I have a few links to some pinterest and blog pages that also features images of the Dutch Design Week.

Spaanplaat is niet direct het materiaal wat je voor een achterwand van je bed of decoratief element op de muur zou kiezen. Toch is het een fantastisch materiaal met mooie houtnerven en her en der knoesten. Af en toe durven en gewoon doen brengt de meest verrassende resultaten.
Plywood is maybe not the material of first choice when thinking about a backwall for your bed or a decoration on the wall. However, it is a great material and shows all the character of wood. So just be daring and incorperate it in your home for the most amazing results.

Trick or treat!

Stiekem begint Halloween in Nederland steeds meer te leven. Kinderen nemen in ieder geval ieder excuus aan om zich lekker te verkleden. En afgelopen week kregen we ook het verzoek bij de post om je huis 'eng' te maken en snoepjes in huis te halen voor kinderen uit de buurt. Hieronder laat ik jullie mijn Pinterest favorieten zien voor halloween (klik op de afbeelding om naar de bron te gaan).

Ok, het is misschien wat vroeg om nu al een kerst blog te plaatsen. Het duurt tenslotte nog 9 weken. Than again, wat is het heerlijk om er nu al mee bezig te zijn. Kerst is tenslotte HET moment om je huis lekker uitbundig te decoreren. En deze leuke voorbeelden gevonden op mijn nieuwe favoriete blog What Katie Ate zijn leuk om zelf te maken, als je er de tijd voor hebt. Vandaar dat ik jullie er 9 weken vantevoren alvast mee lastig val.
Ok, maybe it is a bit early to post my first Christmas blog post. After all, Christmas is 9 weeks away. Than again, don't you just love thinking about how you'll decorate the house this year. I really like these examples found on my new favourite blog What Katie Ate. They're great to make as a DIY project (if you have the time!). Hey, and that is why I come up with these things 9 weeks in advance.

Eerlijk is eerlijk, ook dit komt op me over als een heerlijke keuken. Wel iets rommeliger door alles wat op de planken staat. Voor zo'n optie zou ik eerder kiezen als het een aparte ruimte is. Maar het oogt wel heerlijk leefbaar en dat is uiteindelijk het belangrijkste in een huis (voor mij dan). Met zo'n mooie tafel en stoelen midden in de ruimte. Oh ja, en haar outfit (shawl daar gelaten) ziet er ook super comfortabel uit.
Truth be told, I also really like this kitchen. It's a bit more filled with knick knacks than the one shown yesterday with all the goods displayed on the shelves. I would go for a kitchen like this if it was a seperate room, not open plan living. But it has a homely feel to it and in the end that is what I would be looking for in a home. How cosy with the table and chairs in the middle of the kitchen for family dinners. Oh yeah, I also really like her comfortable looking outfit (except for the scarve).

Op mijn wekelijkse rondje langs mijn 'we read' blogs kwam ik deze geweldige foto's en meubels tegen van NORM architects, de Craft collection. Het zou me niet verbazen als dit ook weer zo'n tijdloze klassieker gaat worden. Prachtig hoe de poten een mix zijn van dikker en dunner en alle poten onderaan afgerond zijn.

On my weekly round of visits to the 'we read' blogs I'm always curious what I'll come across. Happy to find these Danish designs from NORM architects, the Craft collection. I wouldn't be surprised if this would be the next classic. Love how the legs are a mix of wide and narrow and they all are rounded of.

Op het blog van Fjeldborg kwam ik deze geweldige gevlochten armband tegen. Een lief liberty achtig stofje met wit katoen met een ster en een skelet hoofd. Daar gaan we komend seizoen nog meer van zien want dit is een absolute trend.

Dit is weer een heerlijke ontdekking. Allereerst het blog vol geweldige foto's van Deense fotografe Line Klein. En dan ook nog deze mooie kunstwerken van het nieuwe merk Oh so fine. Als zwangere vrouw spreekt het bovenste me natuurlijk zeer aan. Deze zou ik graag op de kinderkamer hangen als een warme herinnering aan onze eerste maanden saampjes.

Ken je Meyer Lavigne al? Mogelijk ben je een van hun beschilderde borden al eens ergens tegen gekomen maar dit duo doet nog zoveel meer. Door Pinterest kom ik steeds meer leuke zelfmakers tegen. Ook deze gaat naar mijn Pinterest pagina. Gevonden op Scandinavian Deko is dit een project dat zo eenvoudig om in een avondje in elkaar te zetten. Regel wat leuk gekleurd papier, een schaar en wat lijm en je bent al een eind onderweg. Laat je even weten of je hiermee uit de voeten kunt?

Als je de ruimte hebt in je werkkamer dan is dit natuurlijk wel een heel leuke manier om een kast neer te zetten. Een oude ladder gecombineerd met wat planken. Denk dat ik zelf de ladder even een likje verf zou hebben gegeven. Ook wel handig dat je in een oog opslag kunt zien welke masking tape en kleurrijke papieren je hebt. Lis van Karlssons Kundeslab liet me weten dat de ladder bij haar in een klein winkeltje staat. Dus als je toevallig een keer in Odense bent...

Ik ben helemaal head over heals gevallen voor deze kandelaars gespot bij de Zweedse site Mangarum. Wat zijn ze cute voor zo'n toch wel robuust onderwerp als een Fabriek. Zeker zo bij elkaar met dikke en dunne kaarsen gecombineerd.

Mijn woonbeurs favorieten

Natuurlijk heb ik me persoonlijk ook laten inspireren op de Woonbeurs. Hier twee van mijn favorieten. Ik vond dit makkelijk uitvoerbare idee van het verven van grote herfstbladeren, opplakken met maskingtape en inlijsten enorm leuk. En ook de neon letters zie ik graag in ons interieur terugkomen. Mijn eerste gedachte was: als naam op de babykamer! Weg met de houten lettertjes, HELLO neon!

As you can imagine I've also been inspired by things I've seen at the Woonbeurs. Here are two ideas that I would love to work on. I absolutely loved the very achievable idea of the autumn leaves painted, placed with masking tape and framed as a decoration of a large column in our home. And the neon letters are an item I would love for our home. My first thought was: name in the nursery. Bye bye wooden train letters, HELLO neon!

Zoals gisteren aangegeven zijn 30 bloggers op uitnodiging van Sanoma ontvangen op de woonbeurs. Bij ieder huis van de woonbladen zijn we ontvangen door de hoofdredacteur met een toelichting. Hier zie je per huis een kleine foto compilatie. De komende week volgen er nog meer highlights uit de woonhuizen.

Gisteren zijn we met een groep van ongeveer 30 bloggers ontvangen door Sanoma voor een VIP treatment op de woonbeurs 2011. Samen met Kirsten Jassies van VT Wonen en Monique van der Vlist van 101 woonideeën zijn we langs de huizen van de verschillende tijdschriften gegaan. Daar werden we goed ontvangen door de hoofdredactrices met informatie over de tot standkoming van het huis en de keuzes die gemaakt zijn. Bepakt en bezakt met handen vol goodiebags, een camera vol foto's en de ontmoetingen met de andere bloggers gaan we moe maar voldaan naar huis. Morgen zal ik een compilatie van foto's op mijn blog zetten. En ik kan dit jaar echt IEDEREEN aanraden naar de woonbeurs te gaan. Je hebt nog tot en met 2 oktober de tijd.

Wat een lekker plekje om te werken. Met de String planken, de decoratie dieren van Ferm LIVING, een 2012 kalender van Weekday Carnival en een houten slinger die je eenvoudig zelf maakt met houten kralen van Pipoos.

De online winkel van freelance illustrator Mariann Dorethy uit Denemarken. Het fijne van dit soort winkels is dat de prijzen ook lekker schappelijk zijn.

Borduur patronen op Esty

Afgelopen zomer heb ik met als inspiratiebron de illustraties van Alain Grée een geweldig wieglakentje gemaakt. Nou is het moeilijk deze te toppen maar met deze beelden gevonden op Etsy kom ik toch weer aardig in de buurt. Het is een serie van sprookjes. Dat gaan weer heerlijke avondjes met borduurwerkje op schoot worden. Het resultaat zal ik tzt posten.

It would be hard to match or exceed this result but I think with this new inspiration found in an Etsy shop I would come very close. I'm looking forward to some evenings on the sofa with an embroidery project in my hands. When it is done I will post the result.

Stel dat je op een makelaarssite zo'n huis tegenkomt. Dan zeg je toch tegen de huidige bewoners jullie hoeven niks te verhuizen ik neem het in z'n geheel over. Een leuk appartement met veel slimme opberg oplossingen. En het fantastische behang op de kinderkamer is van ISAK.
Imagine finding a home like this on a real estate site. I would let the current owners know they wouldn't have to move one thing, I would buy it as it is. A nice appartment with very clever storage solutions. And the fun wallpaper in the kidsroom is by ISAK.

Een prachtige greenhouse

Een leuke mix van potten met boompjes en lantaarns in een prachtige greenhouse. Een beetje een voorjaarsfoto maar ik kan er nog niet helemaal bij dat we al richting herfst gaan. Dan online nog maar even in de zonnige sfeer blijven.
A mix of nice pots with trees and plants and lanterns in a beautiful greenhouse. It is a bit of a spring/summer image but I cannot stand that we are already heading towards autumn. So I keep the sun shining online.

Via de geweldige blog van Anki (zilverblauw) kwam ik op het idee om weer eens door de collectie van Lagerhaus in Zweden te gaan. Ik ben qua besteding blij dat ik niet in Zweden woon want ik denk dat ik de halve winkel al had leeg gekocht. Hierboven mijn huidige absolute favorieten.

Looking at the new posts on the amazing blog by Anki (zilverblauw) I got inspired to check out the collection at Lagerhaus in Sweden once more. I'm happy I don't live close to one of these shops as it would cost me a lot of money. Here you find my favourite items.

Soul birds by Sanna Annukka

De soulbirds van Sanna Annukka zijn prachtig om te zien, maar er zit ook nog een mooi verhaal achter. Hoe men vroeger een houten vogel naast het bed bewaarde om de ziel van de slapende persoon te bewaken. De vogels zijn in een gelimiteerde oplage geproduceerd en de voorraad van 2010 is erg hard gegaan. Ben je voor de vogel gevallen dan zou ik ook zeggen, sla snel toe want voor je het weet is ie weer gevlogen... Naast de collectie vogels zijn er ook mooie kandelaars.

Ze zijn niet bedoeld voor de allerkleinsten om mee te spelen. Het is meer decoreren met blokken voor volwassenen. Maar wat zijn deze handgemaakte blokjes van Weekday Carnival toch leuk! We waren al fan van de houten onderzetters maar ook dit is weer een mooi product.

Je mooiste keuken spulletjes zet je bij voorkeur natuurlijk niet in de kast. Nee, deze verdienen een mooie display. Zoals deze twee frisse voorbeelden van Fjeldborg. In ons huis zou dit iets te rommelig zijn (onze keuken zit ook in de woonkamer) maar ik wil al heel lang zoiets in de stacaravan. Misschien volgend voorjaar dit project maar eens gaan oppakken.

It would not be suitable for our home as my kitchen is directly attached to the living room. But I've wanted this for our summer residence for quite some time now. Maybe with these two examples I should put this project into action next spring.
